About Us

Katz Counseling is a place where you can feel grounded, supported, and truly understood during life’s turning points.
We know that change can stir up uncertainty, fear, and self-doubt—and it can be hard to hold it all alone. Here, you’ll have the space to pause, breathe, and listen to yourself without judgment or pressure.

Our work together is about more than solving problems; it’s about helping you feel more connected to who you are, more at ease in your relationships, and more trusting in your own choices. Sessions are a collaborative process, shaped by what feels meaningful to you and what helps you feel steady and whole.

Whether we meet in Pikesville or by secure video anywhere in Maryland, you’ll leave knowing you have a safe place to return to whenever life feels uncertain.

Services Designed for Real-Life Change

At Katz Counseling, our work is focused on helping adults find their footing during times of change. Individual therapy offers a place to clear the mental clutter, name what’s really going on, and rebuild confidence in your next steps. Couples counseling gives partners the tools to break unhelpful cycles, have the conversations that matter, and strengthen their bond. We also host small, targeted workshops on topics like setting boundaries that stick, managing stress before it takes over, and navigating big life shifts without losing yourself.
Whether you join us in our warm Pikesville office or connect online anywhere in Maryland, you’ll leave with insights and strategies that make a difference in your daily life—not just in the therapy room.

Meet Yitzchok Rabinowitz, LMSW

Yitzchok is a Licensed Master Social Worker working with children, teens, and adults. His focus is building real-life skills to manage emotions, improve behavior, and handle day-to-day challenges with more confidence. With kids and teens, Yitzchok focuses on self-control, friendships, and reducing behaviors. He uses play therapy, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques, using kid-friendly language.
